UroInstitute Difference

The Urological Institute of Northeastern New York is a unique hybrid private and academic practice urology group. Our group is an affiliate of Albany Medical Center, Community Care Physicians, and the Stratton VA Medical Center.

Our dynamic practice consists of 13 doctors, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, and 2 dedicated research coordinators. All of our physicians hold full-time faculty appointments at Albany Medical College and lead a vibrant residency program consisting of 10 urology residents.

Our faculty members are very active in academic and clinical research and represent a broad range of clinical urological subspecialties including urologic oncology, pediatric urology, andrology and infertility, kidney stone disease, endourology and robotic surgery, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

The Urological Institute of Northeastern New York—in partnership with Albany Medical Center and Community Care Physicians—is committed to providing the very best in patient care. We believe that patients receive the best care when their providers have access to relevant information.

We invite local and regional providers to participate in accredited continuing medical education activities that provide information, skills, and strategies so that they can improve their practice and continue to deliver high-quality care that is both safe and effective. Our continuing medical education courses are accredited through Albany Medical College's Office of Continuing Medical Education.
