Urine Flow Study

A special device called a uroflowmeter can measure the speed and volume of your urine flow while you're urinating. The data is then used to determine your flow rate and identify potential problems with your urine flow.

p>Because an enlarged prostate can partially block the flow of urine, BPH can cause urine flow to slow down. Uroflowmetry uses a special device to measure the speed at which a man urinates as well as how completely he can empty his bladder.
