Dr. Chang Kit is an assistant professor of surgery who specializes in female and male reconstructive surgery.
She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Ontario where she received her Bachelors of Science (BSc Biochemistry), and her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degrees.
She completed her residency training in urological surgery at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver General Hospital, British Columbia). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. She completed a two year accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at Vanderbilt University.
Her clinical and research interests are in female, male and neurogenic voiding disorders, including female and male incontinence, female pelvic organ prolapse, and penile diseases such as urethral strictures. She has published several papers and book chapters related to her field, and serves as a reviewer for the journals Neurourology and Urodynamics and the Journal of Endourology.
She is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Canadian Urological Association (CUA), Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Surgery (SUFU) and Society of Women in Urology (SWIU).
